Engineering Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our equipment meets or exceeds customer requirements with respect to safety, quality, flexibility, and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish process parameters and procedural requirements to ensure conformance to customer requirements
- Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas to meet long-term customer required cost reductions and maintain profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor and control timeline planning, tooling, and capital budgets
- Prepare presentations to engineering and management teams
- Travel to customers and vendors to investigate quality concerns, tooling build process, and buyoffs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in process improvement and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
