Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor to join our team at Waypoint Insurance Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of our office, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and procedures.
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish clear work priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and train staff on new procedures and systems.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Resolve conflict situations and monitor and evaluate the performance of office staff.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player with a client-focused approach.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
