Lakeridge Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, treating, and managing swallowing disorders, communication disorders, and language-based cognitive disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat adult neurogenic client populations
- Conduct and interpret Modified Barium Studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans to restore, augment, and maintain functional ability
- Collaborate with professional staff from other disciplines to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families on treatment and outcomes
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Minimum 1 year experience assessing and treating adult neurogenic client populations
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, and case management skills
- Proven ability to work as a team player and demonstrate flexibility
