Clinical Nurse Leader, Systemic Therapy/Ambulatory Care Unit

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team in the Systemic Therapy/Ambulatory Care Unit. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily activities and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff
- Collaborate with the Manager, Clinical Services to ensure optimum care is provided to patients
- Develop and implement unit-specific policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to staff for professional development and performance improvement
- Participate in the development and implementation of PHSA/BC Cancer policies and procedures
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Three (3) years recent related clinical nursing experience, including teaching and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide supervision and work direction
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership, time management, organizational, teamwork, and team-building skills
- Comprehensive BC Cancer nursing orientation program
