We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at HAPPY MARKET. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
