About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at FNK Construction. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the timely submission of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.

    • MS Office
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
