About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at FNK Construction. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax.
  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques for employees.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
