Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Super 8 Edmonton Int. Airport. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions and activities
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software
Work Environment

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and staff on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain a high level of professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
