Job Title: Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team at United Tarps And Repair Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding and metal shaping techniques.
  • Determine weldability of materials.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
