Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is of the highest quality and presented in an appealing manner.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take responsibility for cleaning kitchen and work areas.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of the business.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
