Job Title: Restaurant Cook

Col. Mustard's Bar & Grill is seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our culinary team. As a Restaurant Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure efficient service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
