About the Role
  • We are looking for a technology leader with extensive experience in managing applications and systems in the healthcare industry.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions, including AI tools.
  • A successful background in project management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the Applications team in developing and implementing software solutions that meet clinical and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain inventory of the organization's software and systems assets and their corresponding contracts/agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversee quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in business administration, health administration, informatics, computer systems design, or computer science, or eight years or more related work experience.
  • Certifications in ITIL, CPHIMS, PMP, or other related certifications are an asset.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems and core business applications, including Meditech, Cerner, Epic, AllScripts, PICIS, Kronos, VirtuoHR.
  • Working knowledge of various operating systems.
