Job Description
Job Title: Carpenter Team Lead

    Under the supervision of a senior team member, you will play a major role in maintaining our standard for quality service.

    ServiceMaster Restore of Northern New Brunswick invites highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Technicians to join our team as Team Leads in the Bathurst area. We are currently taking applications to fill our available positions as soon as possible.

  • You will be responsible for effectively executing various construction division projects.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in shaping the quality and safety standards that we uphold, both on and off the job site.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a solid understanding of safety procedures are paramount for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and maintain a team environment with open communication.
  • Develop, implement and review policies and procedures related to the carpentry and construction divisions.
  • Ensure that construction projects adhere to timelines, quality and safety standards.
  • Evaluate and address quality control issues, identifying potential causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team, as priorities require.

Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of industry experience in a senior level position.
  • Post-secondary experience with a carpentry or building science certification.
  • A solid understanding of industry standards and building codes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders, including public officials, representatives, and the general public, on matters of policy and procedure.

Desirable Qualifications
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program certification.
  • Welding or mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) and climb ladders, as required.
