Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern New Brunswick. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for effectively executing all projects and ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
  • Take precise measurements and calculate material needs
  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring they are level and compatible
  • Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them as designated
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements:
  • College diploma in a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in a lead carpenter role
  • Red Seal Carpenter Certification preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in diverse settings
Working Conditions:

This position requires a moderate level of physical exertion and may involve working outside of normal hours to deal with emergencies.
