Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Processing Coordinator to join our team at SIRVA Worldwide Relocation and Moving. As a Claims Processing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing and verification of claims, advances, and supplier invoices for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage expense claims in accordance with relocation policy, verifying and reconciling expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Analyze claims, advances, and supplier invoices to determine eligibility and make determinations based on policy and guidelines.
  3. Process all claim types, identifying corrective actions to address errors and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  4. Accurately and efficiently complete invoice verification functions, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of work and minimal disruption to clients.
  7. Identify areas for improvement and suggest process enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
  8. Utilize analytical and detail-oriented skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, prioritizing work to meet business needs.
  9. Stay up-to-date on relocation policy and standard operating procedures, applying knowledge to ensure compliance and quality.
  10. Support the General Inquiries team with miscellaneous communication tasks, including chats, emails, phone calls, and voicemails.
  11. Perform various administrative tasks to support the Contact Centre, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Requirements:

  1. College graduate or equivalent work experience.
  2. Knowledge of relocation, residential real estate, residential mortgages, legal, or banking is an asset.
  3. Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes.
  4. 1-2 years' experience in claims processing or a related field.
  5. Previous experience in customer support through a contact centre.
  6. Professional, self-motivated individual with the ability to assume additional responsibilities and work flexible hours as required.
  7. Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Superior customer service skills and orientation, with the ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
  9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage work under time constraints without direct supervision.
  10. Bilingualism is preferred.
  11. Ability to foster a sense of belonging and encourage authenticity, valuing diversity and recognizing its impact on innovation.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  13. Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  15. Stress tolerance, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
