Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wild Wing Ingersoll. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Inventory: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a client-focused approach to ensure that customers receive excellent service.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills to address customers' complaints or concerns.
