About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Wainwright Burger Baron & Twins Pizza. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as well as supervising and training kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring quality and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve menu and service goals

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
