About the Job:

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a long-term care setting. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are met, while promoting their independence and dignity.

Key responsibilities include:

•Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living

•Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, and related equipment

•Performing nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration

•Maintaining a safe and healthy environment through housekeeping activities

•Observing and reporting changes in resident behavior and condition

•Accompanying residents on outings and during social activities

•Performing clerical duties and delegated tasks

This is a relief part-time opportunity until the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings, rotating from 07:00 to 13:00, 15:00 to 21:30 hours.

About this location/unit:

Bastion Place is a multi-level care facility that provides a supportive and client-centered environment for our residents. Our facility has a total of 80 beds, including private rooms, wards, and palliative care beds. We are committed to supporting our residents' choices and helping them function at their highest level.
