Physiotherapist - Long Term Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to clients in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients to identify issues and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide and recommend adaptive equipment and training for personal care.
- Offer counseling on lifestyle adjustments to promote overall well-being.
- Participate in team conferences and maintain effective communication with the care team.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of Physiotherapy.
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the BC College of Physical Therapists in good standing.
- Experience in a long-term care setting preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and make timely decisions while effectively collaborating with the care team.
