Culinary Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Bamboo Inn Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Create new recipes

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. You must be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

Requirements

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Language

The primary language of work is English.
