Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team at Bamboo Inn Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing food preparation, presentation, and quality control.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and nutritional considerations.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring that dishes are visually appealing and meet high standards of quality.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in culinary arts, with at least 1 year of experience as a chef or cook.
  • Excellent cooking skills, including knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor during peak service periods.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements, with the ability to adapt menu offerings accordingly.
