Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optical Technician to join our team at Akal Optical (Milton) Ltd. The successful candidate will assist healthcare professionals in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in maintaining patient records and following through on treatment programs.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and managing office functions.
  • Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory levels.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, with a 30-hour workweek.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
