Your Role

As a Senior Business Analyst at Magnet Forensics, you will be part of a fast-moving team of technology and process improvement-oriented individuals who share a common goal of improving how Magnet operates. You will partner with business functions to understand strategic direction and drive system and process solutions that enable those strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run weekly sprint planning meetings and facilitate collaboration between business systems and business functions.
  • Derive departmental objectives with leaders and support planning to achieve those objectives.
  • Participate in strategic direction planning sessions and provide expertise on complexity and resource requirements.
  • Analyze process and technical solutions to build and deploy new system functionality.
  • Act as an expert resource to business leads and team members in designing business processes that introduce efficiencies.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, and help materials for team members.
  • Assist technical consultants with technical documentation of existing and future applications.
  • Gather and draft requirements and functional specification documents.
  • Provide change management support during system implementation.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with a strong background in business analysis and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in implementing and improving dynamic business processes and systems. Additionally, they should have 3+ years of experience working with finance business teams and strong analytical skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,600 - $140,400 CAD, depending on location and job-related factors.
