Therapist for Seniors

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our clients in long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
- Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, and consult with local vendors regarding equipment trials and applications.
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides.
- Monitor and record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts, adhering to guidelines established by the College of Occupational Therapists.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements:
- Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
- ADP Authorization is required.
- Experience in long-term care is preferred.
