Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in executing daily dinner services. This position requires effective leadership, collaboration with the culinary team, and adherence to quality standards.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with possible involvement in general holidays. Wages are paid on an hourly basis, commencing at $19-$19.85. The position includes full benefits, starting immediately, as well as vacation pay accrued at 4%.
Key Accountabilities- Oversee the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
- Develop and implement meal plans based on client requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and adhere to budget guidelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain high-quality food presentation.
- Coordinating and supervising kitchen staff involved in meal preparation and serving.
- Implementing proper food storage and rotation procedures.
- Sending and receiving food orders.
This position offers an attractive salary package, including:
- A competitive hourly rate of $19-$19.85.
- Comprehensive benefits, commencing immediately.

Candidates should possess:
- A valid Food Safe certificate.
- Substantial cooking experience.
- A current Level 1 First Aid certificate (an asset).
- Large scale camp cooking experience (an asset).
- Red Seal or other certifications (an asset).
- Experience in managing inventory levels and budgets.
- A strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
