Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires a strategic thinker to lead the sourcing process for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with experience in leading complex sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization is competitive in the market.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field, such as business or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing.
  • Proven track record of leading complex sourcing initiatives and achieving results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
