Community Claims Support Specialist
Indigenous - Remote - Full Time

This role will involve working closely with Indigenous communities across Canada, specifically with First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan's Principle class action.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support to individuals with diplomacy throughout the claims process.
  2. Develop and foster relationships with community members.
  3. Assist individuals in completing claims forms and connecting them with support resources.
  4. Assist individuals in checking claim status and navigating the appeals process.
  5. Educate individuals on the claims process and settlement benchmarks.
  6. Participate in training sessions to ensure effective claims support.
  7. Ability to adapt to changes as required.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of three years relevant experience.
  2. Social Work Diploma.
  3. Ability to establish trust and communication with individuals dealing with trauma.
  4. Proficient in technology and online platforms.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Willingness to travel across Canada.
  7. Provide virtual support to individuals by phone, internet, or in person.
Additional Benefits:
