Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian Cancer Society. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our talent acquisition team with a broad scope of responsibilities impacting various projects, programs, and services related to the attraction and selection of talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador for the CCS employer brand, ensuring a positive experience in all activities related to the recruitment and selection of talent.
  • Support full cycle recruitment, including conducting phone screens, maintaining recruitment trackers, and generating recruitment reports and metrics.
  • Coordinate internship and student programs, including reviewing and coordinating all aspects of student/intern/co-op programs, building and maintaining relationships with schools and community partners, and researching and presenting funding opportunities.
  • Support broader talent acquisition strategies, including participating in creative sourcing and social recruiting activities, sharing and posting talent-related content on social media, and assisting in planning CCS office events.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve annual goals and plans, and contribute to a culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • A combination of education and work experience demonstrating success in coordination, time management, and organization.
  • Energetic, tech-savvy, and results-oriented, with the ability to foster positive relationships with others.
  • Strong work ethic and superior customer service skills, with a commitment to providing quality experiences for internal partners.
  • High proficiency in English (verbal, written, and presentation); French fluency is a strong asset.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ATS and/or HRIS systems is considered an asset.
