About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, maintain driver logbook.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), and a clean driving record.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
