Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Alberta LTD is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety and security
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver logbook knowledge
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
