Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy and Governance Analyst to join our team in Burnaby. The successful candidate will possess strong research and analytical skills, with experience in policy development and government relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting research and analysis on government proposals and policy initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing effective governance processes and practices.
  • Supporting the organization's government relations activities, including coordinating engagement and tracking lobbying efforts.
  • Liaising with internal partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Leading the Board Nominations process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the Board approved election policy and Bylaws.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience working in a policy or public administration environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience with communications planning and execution, including independent development of communications materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development and a strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
