Ontario Inc. is seeking an exceptional Executive Pastry Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exquisite bakery goods and desserts.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and presentation of food, supervise cooking staff, and maintain high standards of quality. With a focus on innovation and creativity, this leader will develop new recipes and techniques to drive menu growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to inform operational decisions.
  • Analyze data to optimize operating efficiency and improve overall kitchen performance.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Supervise specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Create innovative recipes that meet customer expectations and preferences.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Prepare and cook food regularly, or for special guests or functions, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and efficient stock management.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
