Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at East Hants Animal Hospital.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working closely with our veterinarians, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with surgical procedures, patient recovery, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Conduct physical examinations, patient assessments, and radiology
  • Prepare and administer medications, as well as maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and problem-solve effectively
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and pet owners
