Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at East Hants Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery, anesthesia, and patient recovery
  • Conduct physical examinations, take vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Prepare and administer medications, as well as maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a veterinary technician program
  • Eligible to register with NSVMA/EVTA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for animal care and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
