About the Role

Lina's Italian Market & Cappuccino Dessert Bar is seeking a skilled Service Ambassador to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Presentation bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to stand for extended periods. The ideal candidate should possess excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and teamwork abilities.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for advancement and professional growth within our company.
