Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

TC Transcontinental is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads and employees to promote a culture of safety and health.
  • Investigate and report on all safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead the Safety Committee and coordinate safety-related activities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS-related role.
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental Protection Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
