Job Summary:
The Base Area Operations Department at Whistler Blackcomb is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Base Area Operator. This role is responsible for maintaining the plazas and facilities at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, as well as providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resort facilities, including snow removal, grounds maintenance, and indoor cleaning.
- Provide exceptional guest service, including assisting with parking and providing information to guests.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the Base Area Operations team.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as snow shoveling and lifting.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
