Job Title: Corporate Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to join our team at Upstay Canada Inc.

Job Summary

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and formulating policies to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate necessary authority.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
Supervision

The Corporate Controller will supervise a team of 5-10 people in various areas of responsibility.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Work Environment

The Corporate Controller will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.

  • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks.

This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
