About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Relationship Associate to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our high-value clients, working closely with Investment Advisors to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business and relationship management support to Investment Advisors, enabling them to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Assist in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients' specific requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, Investment Advisor Bank branches, and other referral sources.
- Demonstrate financial planning expertise to support Investment Advisors and produce high-quality plans that exceed client expectations.
- Participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process, organizing client seminars and events as needed.
- Match clients to their products and services in a professional, consistent, and expedient manner.
- Maintain a culture of risk management, adhering to internal policies and procedures, and protecting the interests of the Bank by monitoring and raising transaction activity as required.
- Monitor service quality and productivity, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and keep others informed and up-to-date on work status and progress.
- Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive professional team environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook.
- Requirement to become licensed with Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) as a Registered Representative (RR).
- Desirable: Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma.
- Desirable: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work confidentially, independently, and as part of a team.
