About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at True Shades Painting Ltd. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and other applicable taxes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Language: English.
