Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Lotus Immigration Services Limited. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Post journal entries
    • Reconcile accounts
  • Financial Analysis
    • Prepare trial balance of books
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. Public transportation is available.
