Overview:

The Real Estate team at Restaurant Brands International is responsible for managing a vast portfolio of properties across Canada and the US. This team plays a critical role in shaping the company's real estate strategy and ensuring the long-term success of its brands.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Real Estate Asset Management to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the Western Canada Tim Hortons real estate portfolio, working closely with the broader Development Team and Real Estate leadership to drive business growth and optimize portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Tim Hortons real estate portfolio for Western Canada, focusing on lease renewals and negotiations with external landlords.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, developers, and brokers.
  • Work closely with the Real Estate Committee to provide strategic recommendations and support property purchases, dispositions, and renovations.
  • Conduct market and property analyses, including regular site visits and market tours, to inform business decisions.
  • Represent the Restaurant Brands International brand to stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, with a focus on negotiation and drafting commercial leases.
  • Strong market knowledge of commercial leasing industry trends, market rates, and large-scale developments in Canada.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a similar role within the quick service restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems.
  • Ability to travel regularly for site visits and market tours.
