Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor - Restaurant Management
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Salando Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our kitchen team, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
- College education in restaurant/food services management
- First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Smart Serve, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate
Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and safety. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. You must be physically demanding and have attention to detail.
