About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Caregiver to join our team at Coopérative de solidarité de services à domicile du Royaume du Saguenay. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Household Management: Shop for groceries, prepare and serve meals, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Transportation: Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
Work Environment

As a Medical Caregiver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often in clients' homes. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and perform repetitive tasks.
