About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Caregiver to join our team at Chartwell Villa Saguenay, a residence for seniors. As a Medical Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Residents
    • Deliver meal trays and assist with feeding residents
    • Ensure residents' personal care needs are met, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Respond to call signals and provide assistance as needed
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment
  • First Aid and Emergency Response
    • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Certifications and Training
    • Complete Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
    • Hold a valid CPR Certificate
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure
    • Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
    • Bend, crouch, and kneel as required
  • Personal Suitability
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication
    • Show flexibility and initiative in a team environment
    • Exercise sound judgement and remain organized
