Technical Director

Equinox Game is a pioneering game development studio with a strong focus on backend and multiplayer solutions. We are seeking a Technical Director to lead our technical efforts and ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead the technical team, providing clear direction and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Develop and implement technical strategies that support overall project objectives.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of technical processes and systems. Ensure all technical aspects of projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative, production, and management teams to integrate technical solutions seamlessly into projects. Act as the technical liaison between departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation within the technical team by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Provide expertise and guidance on complex technical issues, ensuring that all challenges are addressed proactively.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support the growth of technical team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant domain, with at least 2 published multiplayer games.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Director or in a similar senior technical leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of game engines, software development, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the intersection between technology and creativity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
