Regulatory Affairs Expert for Beverage Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Expert to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our Scientific and Regulatory Affairs (SRA) function, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with food regulations and enabling business growth through innovative solutions.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves leveraging your scientific and regulatory expertise to drive innovation, minimize risks, and unlock growth opportunities for our beverage business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet regulatory requirements and support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your scientific knowledge to enable business growth through innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure a science-based perspective on regulatory matters.
- Proactively stay on top of key scientific and regulatory trends that can impact our business.
- Manage ingredient, product, packaging, claims, and communication regulatory compliance approvals.
- Develop strategies and communications on topics related to regulatory, nutrition, and sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field is mandatory; a master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in the beverage or food industry in scientific and regulatory affairs or relevant related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current food regulations in Canada and the US, with expertise in product communication from a regulatory perspective.
- Excellent understanding of the regulatory and political landscape affecting food and beverages.
