About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist who can leverage their scientific and regulatory expertise to drive business growth and ensure regulatory compliance across our beverage portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your knowledge of current food regulations in Canada and the US to enable business growth through innovation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that address regulatory and policy risks, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Manage complex regulatory issues impacting products, ingredients, and labeling, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and developments in policies, regulations, and nutrition science, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field is mandatory; a master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in the beverage or food industry in scientific and regulatory affairs or relevant fields, managing regulatory issues impacting products, ingredients, and labeling.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory and political landscape affecting food and beverages, including international food standard-setting processes.

The estimated salary for this role is $108,000 - $126,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. This figure is based on national averages and may vary based on individual circumstances.
