As an Airport Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our airport facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Custodial Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Assist with minor maintenance and repairs, including fixing equipment and performing routine checks to ensure facilities are in good working order.
- Waste Management: Remove and dispose of waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Facilities Management: Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
- Specialized Tasks: Clean high windows, lift and move furniture, and perform other tasks as required to maintain the airport environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as weekends and holidays. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
