Housekeeping Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Coordinate inspection of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting departmental policies and safety standards
  • Maintain financial records and inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
